Graphene Particles Interfere with Pro‐Inflammatory Polarization of Human Macrophages: Functional and Electrophysiological Evidence

چکیده
The interaction of two types fragmented graphene particles (30–160 nm) with human macrophages is studied. Since have significant phagocytic activity, the incorporation into cells has an effect on response to functional polarization stimuli, favoring anti-inflammatory profile. Incubation foam particles, prepared by chemical vapor deposition, and commercially available nanoplatelet does not affect cell viability when added at concentrations up 100 µg mL−1; exhibit differential quantitative responses each type particles. Although both materials elicit similar increases in release reactive oxygen species, impact transcriptional regulation associated profile different; nanoplatelets significantly modify this transcriptomic Moreover, these differentially motility phagocytosis macrophages. After macrophages, they specific terms mitochondrial consumption electrophysiological potassium currents plasma membrane. These data support view that physical structure macrophage responses, paving way for development new mechanisms modulate activity immune system.

Magnesium corrosion particles do not interfere with the immune function of primary human and murine macrophages
Magnesium is currently under investigation as a prospective biodegradable implant material. Biodegradation of magnesium causes a release of magnesium, hydroxide ions and hydrogen gas but it can also lead to the formation of particulate debris. Implant-derived particles may have immunotoxic effects. To investigate the influence of magnesium-derived particles on the immune functions of primary ma...

in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

Cells of the macrophage lineage (MAC) play an important role in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. However, the knowledge on the extent of macrophage involvement in the pathogenesis of HIV infection is still incomplete. In this study we examined the secretory repertoire of HIV-infected MAC with respect to the proinflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), interleu...
متن کاملp16INK4a deficiency promotes IL-4-induced polarization and inhibits proinflammatory signaling in macrophages.
The CDKN2A locus, which contains the tumor suppressor gene p16(INK4a), is associated with an increased risk of age-related inflammatory diseases, such as cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, in which macrophages play a crucial role. Monocytes can polarize toward classically (CAMϕ) or alternatively (AAMϕ) activated macrophages. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the acquisition ...
